I liked it, but I think a lot of your other work was funnier. This one was more of a crazy rant than a parody.
Still, I hate those squirrels so much they automatically put me in a bad mood. So that may be coloring my judgment.

I like the concept. Very fun. It felt a little rough in terms of polish though.
I disliked how nothing felt solid. Maybe some of the enemies should be solid or hurt you when you touch them. And getting hurt could stun or knock you out of the air so it feels more like getting hurt rather than getting an arbitrary stat reduced.
Regardless, it's still a fun game. Keep making games and getting better!
PS: Do I detect a fan of Spelunky? The art style really reminded me of it.
I liked it. Spamming ranged units works way too well though. Kinda kills the tactical aspect.

Tone down level 23 or add a skip option.
I went from an average of dying less than once a level to dying around 50 times before rage quitting. Completely killed my fun.
I hate to see great game ideas ruined by poor game flow design. Fix this and you're golden.
